I also know the legacy well - VB.NET WebForms, Visual WebGui, WinForms, classic Web API, EDMX / EF6 - which is what makes a migration safe.

When SQL Server is the bottleneck, I look at execution plans, wait stats, and contention, then fix the cause: indexing, query and stored-procedure rewrites, set-based batching with table-valued parameters, and concurrency that accounts for the isolation level.

I also handle large data migrations - moving millions of rows with validation and reconciliation - and set up high availability where uptime matters. T-SQL and EF Core, plus Oracle / PL-SQL and MySQL in mixed environments.

I connect systems over REST / Web API, WCF / SOAP, message queues, GIS (ArcGIS), and cloud services (AWS S3 / SES / Cognito, Azure SQL).
